Safe and Sound Week begins August 18, 2024 ! The Safe and Sound campaign is a nationwide OSHA event to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs, including management leadership, worker participation, and a systematic approach to finding and fixing workplace hazards.

On Tuesday, August 13 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EST), join OSHA New York Region, Puerto Rico Area Office, the Virgin Islands Division of Occupational Safety and Health, and Safety in Paradise Consultation Program for an exciting, FREE online webinar promoting the SAFE + SOUND WEEK 2024 in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide annual event held every August that recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe. This event will focus on essential themes including heat injury prevention strategies tailored for the Caribbean’s tropical climate, safe practices in tree trimming and landscaping activities, and identifying top hazards in construction. These topics are particularly pertinent as we navigate the challenges of ensuring safety and sound practices during the summer months.
